The Bishop and priests of the Diocese of Port Pirie thank God for the life and ministry of Mgr Arthur Hackett who died peacefully in St Joseph’s House on 24 May. Aged 88 he was ordained on the 7 December 1954 in Rome and ministered in ten parishes of the diocese. He was parish priest of Whyalla West for 24 years, Kadina for 10 and his final years in Gladstone.
Private Funeral to be held by invitation in Port Pirie.
