100 YEARS

The death occurred on 2nd May 2020 of Gwen Brown, long time resident of Ballina.

Gwen was predeceased by her husband Jim and older sisters Jean Somerville and Leila Matthews. She was much loved and held a special place in the hearts of her five nieces and their families.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr Chris McKenzie and his staff at Ballina Family Medical Centre for the care and love shown to Gwen over many years. Thanks also to the staff at Maranoa Alstonville for their exceptional care during the past ten weeks, and Dr Leslie from Alstonville Clinic for his recent support.

Thanks also to Archdeacon Matthew Jones and his clergy, and the parishioners from Ballina Anglican Church for their prayers and love.

According to Gwen’s wishes a private cremation has been held.
