Flooding hit the Coffs Coast again on November 7, isolating thousands, forcing residents to evacuate their homes, and mobilising the SES for more than 40 rescues.
SHOWERS and thunderstorms will continue through the mid north coast region of New South Wales this afternoon and may increase to bring further heavy falls.
EMERGENCY Services Minister Steve Whan has declared Coffs Harbour, Nambucca, Bellingen and Kempsey Shires as Natural Disaster areas following flooding.
WEATHER is easing on the Mid North Coast after torrential rain caused almost 40 flood rescues, isolated thousands and forced the evacuation of homes.
ANOTHER Natural Disaster - the third for 2009 - is expected to be declared on Saturday, after the Coffs Coast was bombarded with rain and flooding.
