A DRIVER is lucky she's alive after flipping her car on a wet road this morning.

The woman was travelling on Kyogle Road, about one kilometer south of the Clarrie Hall Dam turn off, when the car flipped and landed on its roof before 7.30am.

A Daily News journalist spotted the scene on her way to work.

She said the woman appeared to be standing next to her car with no visible injuries.

Several passers-by had stopped to assist with traffic control around the crash.

Emergency services are on the way to the scene.
