WHILE some people like to plant flowers on their front lawn, the Wright family likes to spray paint.

The fanatic Canterbury Bulldogs lovers decided to spray paint the Bulldogs logo on their front lawn in Witney St, Telina to show their support of the team in the grand final.

Karen, Adam, Tomas, 14, and Travis, 12, received plenty of car honks and praise from passers-by for their amazing design creativity.

One man had seen the picture on Facebook and spent 45 minutes looking for it.

"It's been phenomenal, the feedback we've got," Mrs Wright said.

"Someone came and put three toy bunnies on it the other day. It was absolutely hilarious."

Mrs Wright, a cake decorator, designed the logo freehand, comparing it to making "a big cake".

Her husband and sons filled in the gaps of the design, touching it up everyday.

"We spent nine hours on it and 51 cans of spray paint. It cost us over $300," Mrs Wright said.

"We bought every black paint can at Bunnings."

The Wright family has supported the NRL team for 20 years, with Mr Wright boasting two walls full of jerseys in his home.

"It doesn't matter if they don't win but god, I hope they win!" Mrs Wright said pre-grand final on Sunday.

"They are a family-orientated club. They make you feel like one of them."

Tomas reckoned his mum's talent was pretty cool.

"She doesn't get the credit she deserves. My mum is talented, she can just look at a picture and proportion it," he said.

"So many cars have stopped; they respect the time that's gone into it."

Mr Wright said his wife was the right person for the job, having worked at Clinton Bakery as a decorator for 12 years.

"It would be a stick figure if I did it," he said with a laugh.
