Warrant for Paul Hogan's tax adviser over missing millions

A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of the tax adviser accused of helping Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan stash millions in offshore accounts.

Hogan is suing his US-based adviser Phillip Egglishaw for the part he allegedly played in his multi-million-dollar battle with the Australian Tax Office which was settled last year.

According to News.com, documents filed in the Californian District Court allege Egglishaw "absconded with or spent all" of the Australian actor's fortune.

The figure is reportedly around $34million.

Hogan and his artistic collaborator John Cornell first drew the attention of the ATO during a 2004 special investigation into tax evasion.

The pair was accused of owing more than $150 million in unpaid taxes.
