Police chase: Suspect tricks police by removing coat

Video: LA police nab suspect after lengthy and bizarre chase

POLICE Wednesday chased a motorcyclist for 40 minutes on the 101 and 60 freeways before the pursuit ended in East Los Angeles, according to authorities.

The suspect was originally wanted for driving erratically in the Woodland Hills area.

Police say the man drove at excessive speeds (upward of 130kmph), and, at times, was on the wrong side of the road.

During the pursuit, the suspect was seen weaving between cars and Stu Mundel, reporting in Sky2, said he had "several close calls."

The man could be seen reaching into his trench coat several times during the chase, which went through several cities before coming to a bizarre end in East LA when he drove up to a home.
