Veteran Cowboy Glenn Hall ready for more

COWBOYS forward Glenn Hall says age is just a number and he is desperate to play on again next season.

The veteran, named at lock in tonight's crucial away game against the Sharks, said he loved the game and loved playing for the Cowboys.

"I'm 33, but it's only a number," Hall told

"People ask me what I have been thinking about regarding my future and doubt whether the body can hold up, and I think it's a load of s***, really.

"I love playing footy; I started playing footy when I was four years old.

"But I'm very keen on being here at the moment; I would definitely love to be at the Cowboys next year."

Hall's experience would be invaluable next season with Ashton and Tariq Sims set to leave the club.

"You can't easily replace them as people. Ashton is super enthusiastic every day, every training session he comes to," Hall said. "He has a great personality and he's always full of energy and he brings it every session."

Sharks fullback Michael Gordon needs just four points to bring up a personal milestone of 1000 career points.

The home side will be without skipper Paul Gallen, but front rower Andrew Fifita should be improved by his return from injury last weekend.
