Two new lawyers appointed as Judges of the Court

A FORMER Fair Work Commissioner and a commercial litigator were appointed to the Federal Circuit Court on Thursday.

Victorian lawyer Suzanne Jones, the former FWC commissioner, and New South Wales barrister Nicholas Manousaridis were made Judges of the Court.

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus said the two appointments were chosen from a field of more than 100 candidates.

Both lawyers will take up their new roles in early June this year.
