Toddler dies in Beenleigh house fire

A TWO-year-old boy has died at a house fire south of Brisbane this afternoon.

At around 3pm, police and emergency services were called to a Kokoda Street address in Beenleigh. 

Upon arrival, the house was fully engulfed, and a two-year-old boy was unaccounted for.

The body of the boy was located a short time ago within the residence.

Forensic officers will be attending the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
