ON SALE: Alstonville-Wollongbar Chamber of Commerce president Lisa Dillon and the Plateau calendar, with some of the photographers whose work was chosen for the chamber’s calendar.

A CALENDAR promoting the Alstonville Plateau is now on sale - just in time for Christmas.

The calendar was a project of the Alstonville-Wollongbar Chamber for Commerce, which held a photographic competition earlier this year to get the images for the calendar.

President of the chamber, Lisa Dillon, said she was "very, very happy with the way the calendar has turned out".

"We'd like to think this is the first of many," she said.

Some of the photographers whose images appear in the calendar were at the launch event.

Two thousand of the A5-sized calendars have been produced, and they cost $8.50 each - a perfect local Christmas gift.

You can buy a calendar from Candy Lane Fashions at Alstonville; Wollongbar Post Office; Summerland House Farm; Amaze 'n' Place, Alstonville; and Duck Creek Mountain Travel, Alstonville.
