Time almost up for reporting abuse to defence taskforce

PEOPLE considering reporting allegations of sexual or other abuse in defence forces have two weeks to do so.

The time for people to come forward with such allegations to the Defence Abuse Taskforce will expire on May 31.

It is part of the government's response to the DLA Piper Review into allegations of sexual and other abuse within defence.

All people need to do to report an allegation is to notify the taskforce of their intention to report.
