Concert and info day to help save Ballina's koalas

THE campaign to save Ballina's koalas continues with a concert and information day at Missingham Amphitheatre on Saturday, from noon to 4pm.

Performers will include Luke Vassella, Holley Sommerville, Tommy Franklin, Sara Tindley, Timothy Rupert, Kazya Karski, Dale Gilmore, Horace and his Harem plus Aboriginal dancers.

There will also be a barbecue, Kevin the Koala, face painting and more to raise awareness about the potential extinction of the koala colony in the Blackwall Range and the destruction of Aboriginal sacred sites and scar trees.
