IT HAS all the glamour of a Victoria's Secret show but the models are the epitome of fitness.
And Jessica Crofts can work a pair of wings as good as any "Angel".
The 25-year-old Little Mountain resident recently won the Fitness Model Diva competition at the World Beauty Fitness Fashion titles held on the Gold Coast.
Ms Crofts competed on stage against a bevy of sculpted beauties. The title has earned her a "pro card" and a chance to compete against the world's best in Las Vegas.
"Honestly, it hasn't sunk in. I didn't think I would win, to be honest," Ms Crofts said.
The preparation in the lead-up to a competition such as Fitness Model Diva is tough.
For 15 weeks, Ms Crofts stuck to a high- fat, low-carbohydrate diet including fish, chicken, greens and macadamia nuts.
She also worked out with her trainer Mike Debenham, from Goodlife Caloundra, for more than two hours each day.
She credited her motivation with being able to see the physical changes in her body.
"You see your body change, you're much healthier, have much better sleep and feel energetic," Ms Crofts said.
"You really understand how eating healthy is good for your body."
Despite the physical benefits, such a strict diet didn't come without its challenges.
During her 15-week preparation period Ms Crofts would have to turn down dinner invitations and coffee with the girls in favour of her home-cooked meals.
She said it took a lot of discipline, but she had the support of her family and friends.
The Las Vegas competition will be held on August 14 and 15, and Ms Crofts is looking for sponsors to support her fitness journey.
