RUGBY LEAGUE: Four new faces have been added to Queensland's Emerging Origin squad for 2017.

Among the 20-man list revealed by Maroons head coach Kevin Walters is Dally M rookie of the year Ashley Taylor, as well as Christian Welch, Coen Hess and Felise Kaufusi.

While this is Kaufusi's first Emerging Origin camp, he was called into the Queensland squad ahead of Origin III this year.

Cowboys winger Kyle Feldt has earned a recall to the squad after missing the 2016 camp.

"The pathway programs we have available through the QAS are second to none and this is another fantastic opportunity to look at the next generation of players coming through,” Walters said.

"This year we saw Corey Oates and Justin O'Neill grab their opportunity at Origin level and I'm sure there will be other players from this program who will make a strong case for selection in 2017.”

Seven of the eight players who broke curfew in this year's camp - Valentine Holmes, Ben Hunt, Edrick Lee, Anthony Milford, Cameron Munster, Dylan Napa and Jarrod Wallace - have been handed a second chance by Walters.

2017 QAS Emerging Origin squad: Jayson Bukuya (Sharks), Dale Copley (Roosters), Kyle Feldt (Cowboys), Tim Glasby (Storm), Jake Granville (Cowboys), Coen Hess (Cowboys), Valentine Holmes (Sharks), Ben Hunt (Broncos), Felise Kaufusi (Storm), Edrick Lee (Raiders), Ethan Lowe (Cowboys), Nene Macdonald (Dragons), Anthony Milford (Broncos), Cameron Munster (Storm), Moses Mybe (Bulldogs), Dylan Napa (Roosters), Lloyd Perrett (Bulldogs), Ashley Taylor (Titans), Christian Welch (Storm), Jarrod Wallace (Titans)
