SUNSHINE Coast teenager Faith Durrer had a birthday celebration she won't forget after getting to dance on stage with Guy Sebastian.

The 13-year-old from Sippy Downs caught the eye of the chart-topping singer and songwriter when she held up a sign declaring her birthday and that it was her first concert.

Sebastian got the crowd to sing happy birthday to her, along with others sharing a birthday. Later in the show, Faith could not believe her luck when she was picked to be one of three to contest a dance-off to win a merchandise pack.

"I danced as hard as I could and they chose me (to go up on stage),'' a buzzing Faith said.

Sebastian told fans at The Events Centre in Caloundra how he had been touched by letters, Facebook posts and tweets about how his music affected fans.
