Special day out for kids

WITH entertainment, Big Dog, clowns, equipment displays from emergency services and much more, the sixth annual Our Kids Day out event at Ballina this Sunday will be fun for the whole family.

The day kicks off at 9am and continues until 1pm at the amphitheatre at Missingham Park.

Fun on the day will include the Ronald McDonald Show, Big Dog, Reptile Awareness, Simon Heart Magic Show, Dhinawan Dreaming and clowns.

Our Kids raises money for Lismore Base Hospital’s children’s ward and for kids from the broader Northern Rivers area to receive specialist medical care locally.

Emergency services – including the fire brigade, ambulance, SES and police – will be displaying their trucks, cars and boats.

Jack Ransom Cycles wants everyone to bring their bikes for a safety check and an Austcycle course throughout the day.

Our Kids fundraising co-ordinator, Rebekka Battista, said it would be a great day for the family.

“Bring the family and a picnic blanket and enjoy the day of free entertainment,” she said.
