THE arrival of Dutch international goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg seems set to end Socceroo Mark Schwarzer's Premier League career at Fulham.
Stekelenburg, who has agreed a four-year deal, spent 11 seasons at Dutch giants Ajax, helping them to two league titles before moving to the Serie A club AS Roma in 2011.
He has also won 54 international caps and played in the 2010 World Cup final.
Schwarzer, 41 in October, is out of contract with the West London club he has called home for five-years, but said he wanted to play on in Europe.
