SOME sneaky snakes have slithered their way into another Sunshine Coast home.

But, where are they?

Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 have again issued the community with the challenge to 'spot the snake'.

Snake Catcher Max Jackson shared the image on social media after being called to a property in Ilkey to relocate a number of snakes.

"They were doing some renos on the house and pulled out one of the weatherboards and found two snakes there," he said.

Mr Jackson said the workers discovered the snakes, which were later identified as Brown Tree Snakes.

He arrived to find them snuggled into the tight space behind the weatherboard and resting due to the cooler winter weather.

"It's a spot for them to curl up and stay warm," he said.

The job was completed without a hitch for Mr Jackson, who was able to grab the lethargic snakes, measuring in at 1.5m and 70cm long, with relative ease.

"They are generally nocturnal and dopey during the day, but on a warm day they'll still be out and active, but it's usually a quiet time of year," he said.

"I relocated them to nearby bushland where they could go sleep in tree hollows like normal snakes."

He said Brown Tree Snakes are a mildly venomous species, but only caused localised pain and swelling.

However, he emphasised that if a person had been bitten, and was unsure as to the species, to seek medical attention.

Mr Jackson revealed the answer to followers on social media on Saturday night.
