Snake attacks man in garden

A MAN in his 70s is being treated by paramedics after reportedly being bitten by a snake in his garden.

The man was bitten in the yard of a Peregian Springs home about 3.30pm Wednesday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were still on-scene treating the man for a suspected bite to his lower leg.

The type of snake involved was unknown.
