Police respond to sixth armed robbery

BUNDABERG Police are responding to a fourth armed robbery in the region this weekend, it is the sixth during the past week.

A Moore Park store is believed to have been held up at knifepoint about 1.40pm by a man between 180cm and 190cm tall.

It is the sixth armed robbery in the region this week.

The Leading Edge Video store on Maryborough St was held up about 8.45pm last Saturday and two nights later, the Urban Cellars on Elliott Heads Rd at Kepnock was also robbed.

The spate continued yesterday when an adult store on Walker St was robbed about 12.30pm, a convenience store on Boundary St robbed about 8.25pm and a Bargara pizza store robbed at 9.20pm.

It is not yet known if all six robberies involve the same perpetrator.
