Second chance for Ed Sheeran fans
ED SHEERAN fans who missed out on tickets to his 2018 tour now have a second chance to get tickets.
The singer today announced five new stadium shows to meet demand, after thousands of fans snapped up the entire pre-sale allocations for his Australasian tour dates yesterday.
A second Brisbane show is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21 at Suncorp Stadium.
Ed Sheeran said today: "I'm overwhelmed with the response, to match that record is very humbling. I really can't wait to get down there."
His 2018 stadium tour, in celebration of his third studio album ÷ , is shaping up to be one of the biggest in Australasian touring history.
The new Australian and New Zealand shows will double his originally announced seven stadium concerts to a 14-date run.
Sheeran is now the joint title-holder of the most stadium shows on a single Australian and New Zealand tour, sharing the record with AC/DC's 2010 tour.
Tickets for Sheeran's new Brisbane show go on sale on Tuesday at 2pm through Ticketek.
