THROUGH a haze of smoke and fiery red light, burning like the sun, Guy Sebastian opened his outdoor concert at Mackay's Bluewater Quay.

"Who's hot?" he yelled to the 2000-strong crowd who packed the outdoor venue for his 'Get Along' tour.

Fans of all ages couldn't wait to hear the singer's hits at the family friendly show.

"It's great to see so many young fans out," MECC events manager Mark Fawcett said.

"The quality of the production is great."

Starting his show with Amnesia, Sebastian soon got the crowd up and dancing with some of his more upbeat songs like Who's that Girl.

Much to the delight of fans, the former X-Factor star Angel Tupai joined Sebastian for a duet of Armageddon.

And with a piano rendition of Get Along and the powerful Battlescars, Sebastian gave many of his fans exactly what they wished for.
