Scrambled Harry and Christo to face Helena and Vikki on MKR

HARRY and Christo's "humble" cooking wasn't enough to keep them safe on My Kitchen Rules tonight.

The Melbourne mates didn't show enough technique to beat Perth "know it alls" Kelly and Chloe in tonight's showdown.

The two teams ended up in the final cook off after Harry and Christo served up an underwhelming Laksa and Kelly and Chloe failed to get all of the elements of their quail egg dish on the plate.

As much as viewers wanted a fiery showdown between Kelly and Chloe and their rivals Helena and Vikki, it didn't happen.

In a new twist, the safe teams had to vote for the weakest team during their blind tasting rather than saving one team.

In the first "chicken and egg" round both gatecrasher teams were safe with Carly and Trene's Thai egg nets looking pretty as a picture and Josh and Danielle surviving despite serving up undercooked fried chicken.

In the second round the WA girls rebounded with their Japanese inspired poached chicken, while Harry and Christo's Tortilla Espanola lacked punch.

The boys will need to bring their a-game tomorrow if they're to have any hope of beating Greek twins Helen and Vikki.
