Scott has taste for success in Melbourne

KNIGHTS back-rower Beau Scott has fond memories of his last game in Melbourne.

His team's 18-16 victory in the semi-finals last season not only knocked the Storm out of the play-offs, but marked the first win in the Victorian capital in nine NRL seasons for the 29-year-old.

And after losing its opening games of the 2014 season to Penrith and Canberra, Scott (pictured) would love nothing better than to make it back-to-back wins in Melbourne when Newcastle plays the Storm on Monday night.

"We've had a pretty strong week of training ... obviously everyone is putting in a lot of effort every week, but we are just not coming away with the points," he said. "There is not much else we can do, but go down there with the right intention and hopefully come away with the points."

Knights coach Wayne Bennett has kept rookie Matt Minto at fullback in place of the injured Darius Boyd.
