Salt N Pepa add spice to Falls Festival’s Byron line-up

THE original queens of hip hop, Salt N Pepa will headline the Falls Festival in Byron Bay this New Year's Eve.

The first line-up announcement for the festival's celebrations in Lorne, Marion Bay and Byron Bay was announced yesterday ahead of the first ticket release for locals.

The four-day music and arts festival will be held at North Byron Parklands from December 30 to January 2, 2015.

Byron Shire residents and south Tweed Shire residents (40 kms north or west of North Byron Parklands) will have priority access to a limited allocation of all event type tickets from 9am on Thursday August 28.

Only the purchaser needs to be a local and can buy up to 4 tickets each.

Other acts named in the lineup include: The Alt J, Röyksopp & Robyn, Spiderbait, John Butler Trio, Bluejuice, Cold War Kids, Jamie XX, SBTRKT, Vance Joy, The Presets and The Temper Trap.
