Rosebank man, 62, killed in tractor rollover

AN elderly man has died in a suspected tractor rollover on his Rosebank farm.

Richmond Local Area Command sergeant Andrew Lawrance said emergency services were called to a property on Rosebank Rd at about 9.30pm last night.

"About 9.30pm last night a 62-year-old man was located deceased, trapped under a tractor," he said.

Sgt Lawrance said police were still investigating the incident to determine whether the man may have suffered a heart attack before the tractor rolled.

"Investigations are continuing as at this stage it is still unclear as to the exact circumstances leading up to the incident."

Sgt Lawrance said police were unsure when the incident occurred as the man was last seen by a relative who left for work at 7am.

A NSW Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to the incident at 9.30pm following reports a patient was deceased.

"When paramedics arrived at the property at Rosebank they confirmed the man was deceased," he said.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
