KELLY Osbourne's new boyfriend dreaded meeting her parents.

Ricki Hall, 27, was thrilled to find rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon to be "really welcoming" as he was feeling intimidated ahead of their first encounter.

He told Heat magazine: "It's terrifying enough meeting your new girlfriend's parents, but imagine them being Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne! I've grown up playing Ozzy's records.

"They were really welcoming. Ozzy is so cool, so nice. It was surreal - Sharon brought me a cup of tea.

"It was all so normal. I thought she'd be scary, but she was so lovely."

The 27-year-old model is planning to travel to Los Angeles next week to see the 'Fashion Police' host - who he has been dating for several weeks - and admits it is the first time he has made the trip since they began their romance.

He added: "She's filming her E! fashion show. We're both all over the place, so it's nice to be able to see her."

And Ricki explained that although they've only been together for a matter of weeks, he is incredibly happy with Kelly.

He said: "It's going really well, she's great".
