REIQ and RP Data join forces

PROPERTY data powerhouse RP Data has become a strategic alliance partner of The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) in a move that will benefit both consumers and practitioners.

REIQ CEO Anton Kardash said the joining of forces between two of Queensland's most recognised real estate brands was a logical one.

"The REIQ has been a trusted name for real estate professionals and consumers alike for more than 95 years and we remain committed to a contemporary and progressive vision, one which aligns well with an industry leader such as RP Data," he said.

"Like RP Data, the REIQ produces a range of highly-regarded statistical research and this partnership will allow us to reach new heights of data analysis that will ultimately benefit the marketplace."

The partnership will extend beyond the provision of more sophisticated data with plans for new joint research publications as well as educational opportunities between the two organisations in the works.

"We all know that in the real estate game data is king," Mr Kardash said.

"This partnership has the potential to open up significant avenues of opportunities that we look forward to delivering to our membership, enabling them to remain market leaders."

RP Data CEO Graham Mirabito said this strategic alliance allows for deeper engagement with key REIQ clients in Queensland and highlights market leadership by both parties.

"In particular our partnership reinforces the role of REIQ as the peak industry body committed to enhancing professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness of its members supported by the country's largest, independent and most respected data and analytics company," Mr Mirabito said.
