FIT TIP: Quit coffee and make your catch up active

I'M NOT a coffee drinker but I love the culture around taking a break to recharge.

This week, instead of arranging your usual sit-down catch-up with friends or a work meeting at your local cafe, swap it for an active get-together.

Take a walk around the park or along the beach or, for a change of scenery, pack a picnic, enjoy the fresh air and stretch your legs.

My cacao nut shake is a perfect coffee alternative - the antioxidants found in cacao will help reduce your risk of stroke, lower blood pressure and lessen the risk of cardiovascular disease.
