Netball queen Liz Ellis holds court at coaching clinics

NETBALL legend Liz Ellis will continue her junior coaching clinics on the Northern Rivers in 2014.

The first clinic is on Friday at Kingsford Smith Park in Ballina.

Ellis has been running regular coaching classes since moving to the Far North Coast a couple of years ago.

She moved to Booyong from Sydney after a decorated career which saw her play 122 games for Australia between 1993 and 2007.

The three-hour clinics are designed for players aged between 7 and 13 years of age with a focus on basic skills and drills.

There will also be specialist position training.

Ellis still has media commitments in Sydney and was most recently inducted into the NSW Netball Hall of Fame late last year.

Bookings are required and can be made online. Each clinic runs for three hours and cost $35 per player.

Other enquiries can be made to kath@lizellis.com.au or 0421 323 901.
