Qld hockey star Dwyer set to play 300th match for Aus

QUEENSLAND'S five-time World Player of the Year, Jamie Dwyer, is in line to make his 300th appearance for the Kookaburras after being named in the 20-strong squad for next month's tour to Europe.

The Aussies will play two Tests against the Netherlands, and one against Belgium, before contesting the Hockey World League in Rotterdam.

The top-three finishing teams will qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
