Police need information on 'suspicious incident'

POLICE are chasing information about a "suspicious incident" involving a car parking beneath an overpass and "some form of disturbance".

Authorities believe a white or light-coloured car pulled over beneath the Bruce Highway's overpass at the Eumundi exit on the afternoon of Sunday September 7.

In a statement, police said:

"It is unclear what has occurred but it is believed that some form of disturbance has taken place with the occupants who had exited the vehicle."

After taking calls from witnesses who reported there appeared to be something suspicious going on, police are now calling for others to come forward.

Police are asking if anyone believes they maybe the people observed involved in the incident to contact them and provide details of what has occurred.

Anyone who may hold any information are asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Policelink on 131 444.
