Police hunt six men after brutal gang-rape attack on teen

SEX crime detectives investigating the brutal gang rape of a NSW teenager at the weekend, are hunting six men in Sydney's western suburbs.

A 14-year-old girl was hospitalised after she was set upon by a group of men at a Doonside reserve late Saturday.

She told police she was walking through the reserve when she was approached by a man who touched her inappropriately before sexually assaulting her.

The man's five friends then also sexually assaulted her.

After the attack, the men fled and the girl ran to a nearby house for help.

The men have been described as being of African appearance and aged in their late teens or early 20s.
