Police dogs' day out at Lennox Head gets tongues wagging

POLICE dog handlers were putting their pooches through their paces in bushland at Lennox Head yesterday.

Richmond Local Area Command apparently had some people phone in because they were concerned there may be some escapees in the scrub.

Police said this was not the case, as far as they know - just a good chance for the dogs to do some exercises.
