Police dismiss rumours of homeless man’s death at Ballina

RUMOURS a homeless man from Ballina was bashed to death last week have been dismissed by police.

Rumours of the bashing death had circulated on social media, however Lismore police Inspector Wayne Crotty said there had been no suspicious deaths at Ballina reported to police.

Anyone with any information about the homeless man is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
