POLICE have appealed for the community to help track down a man after a theft at the Ballina Fair shopping centre.

The man is described as bald, aged between 30 and 40, and 170cm tall.

At the time these CCTV images were captured, shortly before 5.30pm last Thursday, the man was wearing a dark blue hooded jumper with a white motif and dark blue jeans or tracksuit pants.

Police have said on the Richmond Local Area Command Facebook page they believe the man may be able to help them with an investigation into the theft, at about 5.25pm last Thursday, of a bag of cash from a stall at the shopping centre.

Anyone able to help police identify the man or with information that might help with the case is asked to phone Ballina police on 6681 8699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
