Police appeal for help after stabbing at Casino

A MAN was taken to hospital after apparently being stabbed at Casino early yesterday.

Police are now appealing for help from the community in tracking down the man's assailant.

Posting on their Facebook page, officers from the Richmond Local Area Command say the man, 30, arrived at a relative's home at Waratah Street about 2.50am yesterday with stab wounds to his upper body and a cut to his mouth.

The man was taken to the Casino hospital by ambulance for treatment.
