Palermo sacks same manager for second time in one season
STRUGGLING Serie A club Palermo has sacked manager Gian Piero Gasperini for the second time this season and has re-appointed Giuseppe Sannino who was fired after three games in charge at the start of the campaign.
In what is fast becoming a farcical season at the bottom-of-the-ladder club, Sannino was dismissed in September having won just one point, Gasperini replaced him before he was also given the axe in February.
Alberto Malesani then came in, but lasted just 19 days before Gasperini was recalled.
It means the Sicilian club has now made more managerial changes than they have wins this season (three).
