One-year-old 'jumped on' by children at daycare: claims

A CHARTERS Towers childcare centre will undergo an external review following claims management tried to cover up details of an incident where two older children jumped on a one-year-old.

Charters Towers mum Robin Gambrill said she was shocked when she picked up her son Frederick Paterson on August 10 from Charters Towers Kids Early Learning Centre to find his face bruised and scratched.

"I saw him and he was so red," she said.

"When I went to have a meeting with them, they said they didn't know what happened.

"But I looked into it further and someone told me that two older boys were found jumping on him.
