New constables join the NSW Police Force ranks

A NEWLY graduated police recruit will today be posted in the Coffs Clarence Local Area Command.

More than 200 new probationary constables have been officially welcomed into the NSW Police Force after an Attestation ceremony at the Goulburn Police Academy on Friday.

The newly-attested officers will begin work at their new police station postings today.

NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione said the new police officers have shown they have the dedication to succeed throughout their policing career.

"These officers have worked hard, both physically and academically, to reach the milestone of attesting here today," Commissioner Scipione said.

"While today marks the end of one chapter in their policing journey, it also represents the beginning of another; one in which they will experience the great challenges and rewards of serving the community as a police officer.

"I am confident they will be valuable assets to the communities they have been tasked to serve."
