THE McGrath family will be able to share each other's excitement and anxiety about competing at next month's Australian Polocrosse Nationals at Warwick.

Warwick Polocrosse Club members Paul and Sally McGrath will represent Queensland at Morgan Park when the country's best descend on Warwick from April 23-29.

The Greenmount couple has contested 20 polocrosse nationals between them, so they have plenty of experience behind them.

At the other end of the spectrum, and the other end of the McGrath family dinner table, are Keely and Jordan, who will also represent Queensland at the event in the juniors.

Paul will ride eight-year-old mare Kildare Belle at nationals and is keen to captain the Queensland open men's team.

"This is the best chance (of winning) we've had in a while," he said. "I'm really looking forward to playing. It will be a great nationals."

Sally will partner six-year-old gelding Haydon Apollo in the open mixed division.

She believes her Queensland squad also has a good chance of winning the tournament.
