Michael and Kyly Clarke: how they keep passion burning
ADULT time is the secret to Michael and Kyly Clarke's happy marriage.
The wife of former Australian cricket captain Clarke confessed that setting aside special moments for each other amid the day to day routine of being parents was the key to their rich, enduring relationship.
"Having your own adult time together is super important," Mrs Clarke said.
"Michael, being a previous athlete, always needed massages and my having a beauty therapy background and having studied massage, he pretty much hits me up as often as he can."
The Clarkes describe themselves as "blessed" with one-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee but Mrs Clarke, whose Lyfestyled business is releasing a new massage candle, emphasised the importance of keeping romance alive.
"It's important to get back to the couple you were before you had a child because that is the person you fell in love with," she said.
"That's when the laughter comes, and the teasing and the flirting come back. You should always date your husband and the massage candle just helps us, you know, have sexy time."
