Melodies at the club
DEAN Doyle & Sophistication are bringing you Friday Morning Melodies at the Ballina RSL Club, starting on April 12.
They will be entertaining you throughout the year with nine shows of morning melodies: Friday April 12, Friday May 10, Friday June 14, Friday July 12, Friday August 9, Friday September 13, Friday October 11, Friday November 8 and Friday December 13.
Dean Doyle Dean is front man of the show on vocals, also playing trombone and trumpet.
Dean was the vocalist and trombonist for defence force bands around Australia and has also performed in theatre, notably lead roles in Les Miserables, Chess and Miss Saigon.
Narelle Harris is on piano, vocals and vocal harmonies.
Narelle's music career has spanned more than 25 years since graduating from the NSW Conservatorium of Music.
She has worked professionally in Australia, London and Europe.
Paul Belsham has been a working drummer since his early teens, working residencies and casual gigs.
He has covered a repertoire of standards and contemporary rock as well as backing visiting artists.
As a musical director Paul has over 40 musicals to his credit, winning the 2010 and 2011 Gold Coast Area Theatre Award for Best Musical Director.
Tickets for all shows are now on sale for $12.50.
Doors open at 9.30am, and each Morning Melodies show will start at 10am.
