Matt a Shaw thing to replace injured skipper

TOM Murphy and Matt Shaw are the only changes for the Gold Coast Suns when they make the trip to Cairns to play the Western Bulldogs tomorrow afternoon.

Murphy will play in the backline, replacing the injured Trent McKenzie (hamstring), while Shaw will return to the midfield, which will be missing skipper Gary Ablett (shoulder), who is out for the season.

Gold Coast has named Charlie Dixon, despite the tall forward struggling with a leg injury.

At the Gabba, vice-captain Tom Rockliff (suspended) has been replaced by Mitch Golby for the game against West Coast tonight.

The Eagles have made a raft of changes with Nic Naitanui, Callum Sinclair, Simon Tunbridge, Ashley Smith, Dominic Sheed all named, with Matt Rosa (pectoral injury) and Josh Kennedy (suspension) and Dean Cox (soreness) among those to miss out.
