Maroons duo charged after Origin incidents

QUEENSLAND hard man Nate Myles has been accused of attempting to rake the face of NSW star Jarryd Hayne in the 20th minute, but avoided a charge from the game, unlike teammates Michael Morgan and Will Chambers.

Hayne complained to the referee about some high contact to his face while playing the ball. It came after players from both sides were seen engaging in niggling tactics with late hits and wrestling on the ground.

"It's Origin and those things happen," Hayne said of the incident.

"For me it's nothing. You do whatever you can get away with and he got away with that one."

So will it be left on the field?

"100 per cent. It's Origin. Whatever you can get away with, you get away with," Hayne added.

Chambers will face a week ban after a being charged with a high careless tackle in the 50th minute that wiped Mitchell Pearce out of the game.

Michael Morgan also had a grade-one charge a minute earlier, but can avoid a ban with an early guilty plea.
