Man rescued from dozer at Isaac Plains Mine
AFTER working for just over an hour the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service have released the man has been rescued from the dozer.
A QFRS spokesperson said the man has been released and he is safe and well.
Three crews were called to the scene, one from Moranabah, one from Mackay and a tech rescue crew from Mackay.
"They may have gone down on ropes to rescue him but we aren't entirely sure of the details as yet," the QFRS spokeswoman said.
EMERGENCY services are trying to rescue a man stuck in a dozer cabin that is halfway down a coal stockpile at Isaac Plains Mine near Nebo.
It is believed the stockpile is 20 metres high and the dozer has fallen 10 metres.
Crews are setting up lines to get to the man in the cabin.
It is believed he is well.
There are concerns over the risks of the coal shifting during the rescue operation.
The incident is about 15kms west of Nebo.
