A MAN who suffered critical injuries when a bus crashed into his home on the NSW Central Coast has died in hospital.

The 58-year-old was crushed by falling debris when the coach ploughed into the wall of a duplex at Empire Bay on Tuesday.

He was airlifted to Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital where he died late Wednesday.

Police are awaiting the results of a post mortem examination but it is believed the driver may have been suffering from a medical condition.
