Man crushed to death by trucks at NBN Co worksite

A MAN was killed on an NBN Co worksite in Kiama in New South Wales on Friday, with reports he was crushed between two trucks.

In a statement from NBN Co, the corporation confirmed the death happened before noon on Friday, but provided little other detail.

The Illawarra Mercury reported a 56-year-old man was crushed between a stationary truck and a second truck operated by NBN Co.

That report said the man was working for a concreting company completing contract work for NBN Co.

It is understood NSW Police are investigating the fatality.
