Man still in critical condition after crash debris hits home
A MAN who was crushed by debris when a bus ploughed into the wall of his Sydney home remains in a critical condition as police investigate the cause of the freak crash which claimed the life of the driver.
Eleven passengers were treated for minor injuries but the 60-year-old driver died at the scene after the coach veered into a duplex at Empire Bay late Tuesday.
A man in his 30s suffered serious head injuries and was airlifted to hospital.
A female resident was treated for minor injuries.
It took fire and rescue crews seven hours to stabilise the building before local roads were reopened.
